The start of a new season always reminds me of the intricacy of God’s design - the intentionality and care that goes into every little part of life. Psalm 74 reminds us how significant it is for us to remember that God is present in all things, especially in trying times.

15 ”It was you who opened up springs and streams; you dried up the ever-flowing rivers.

16 The day is yours, and yours also the night; you established the sun and moon.

17 It was you who set all the boundaries of the earth; you made both summer and winter.”

Summer is probably our favourite time of the year. Long, bright evenings, 99’s on the beach, holidays with family and friends, and of course - camp! We know that many precious memories are made during these 3 months and we are full of expectation for what God will do this year.

Planning is well underway, beginning with our Mother and Son weekend happening at the start of June!

Updates

The work on the Sports Hall has been completed, featuring new floors, lights and updated bathrooms! We’re so grateful for all the help we received to get this work done. There are some outstanding costs to cover so if you would like to support the ministry by contributing to these - you can do so here!

We are delighted to welcome Sarah Bill to the team as the Operations Co-ordinator for Ovoca Manor!

Her experience and love for the ministry has already been such a gift to the team and we're glad to have her on board.

We want to say a big thank you and farewell to the incomparable Ste Mullarkey as he steps down from his role as Ovoca Manor Centre Manager.

We know many of you will have been blessed by a chat and friendly game of football and hope you will join us in wishing him all the best.

We also want to say a huge thank you to Irah Toal as he completes his internship.

His energy and enthusiasm has been a real blessing to our community and we wish him every success for all that is yet to come!
