Volunteer Profile 

My name is Amanda Ruddock and I had the absolute privilege of leading the team at Greystones CSSM 2023. The team consisted of 68 amazing volunteers who brought so much love, energy and enthusiasm to CSSM. I have always believed in what CSSM stands for and it was an honour to be able to be a part of it in a new way last year.

So much happens at CSSM from walking around the town in crazy costumes to singing songs and learning Bible verses on a beach, to getting the opportunity to sit in a small group and tell children and young people they are deeply known and loved by God. Greystones CSSM celebrated its 127th birthday last year and it is no wonder why a team has come back to gather in the beautiful seaside town each year. Being a part of a team of people from different places and different backgrounds like this is such a unique experience. You get to learn so much from each other and the conversations never stop. The CSSM team is unlike any other group of people I have been around before and I cannot wait to see what’s to come this July.
