Resources Ministry
2024 was an action-packed year for the Resources Department! We were excited to welcome Hannah Clarke to the team in February. She has brought fresh perspectives and strength to the digital side of SU, creating engaging new materials for various NUA series. One of her major contributions was the supporting material to The Way of St. James (also known as The Camino) in partnership with Jesus Film Project, a series we were thrilled to launch online in December. You can check it out here: The Way of St. James
In addition, we continued our collaboration with Alex O’Hara on the scripts for The Way of St. Patrick, a follow-up series to The Way of St. James'. We are aiming to begin production on this series in 2025. We also continued our partnership with SU International to develop a new resource for 8-11-year-olds, Timelanders, which will officially launch in January 2025. For more details, visit timelanders.com.
In the summer, we focused on updating NUA supporting materials, ensuring they were ready for the new school year. In the autumn, we were invited to present NUA and its various series at seven different RE seminars, distributing over 500 resource packs to RE teachers and chaplains at various exhibitions.
This year, we saw nearly 900 new sign-ups to myNUA (our library of NUA series) worldwide, and around 300 new schools and churches in Ireland joined the platform. It’s incredibly exciting to see how widely NUA’s different series are being used, and we’re deeply grateful for the support the resources team has received throughout 2024.
Looking ahead, we’re excited for the launch of Timelanders, the continued use of The Way Series in schools and churches across Ireland, and the creation of more digital content. Our goal is to enhance our current resources and get them into as many homes, schools, and churches as possible across Ireland. Praise God for all the progress in 2024, and we look forward to what’s ahead!
